Tank to stand alignment?

Hi guys, I'm in the process of starting a new tank. Its a IM Nuvo 20. Ill be posting a full built thread, once I fill it with water. Issue I have now, and hope you can help me with, is that my DIY stand top is not perfectly flat. I made it out of an older board that was sanded to remove the previous finish, Its all solid wood over an inch thick. When I place the tank on it the way I want it to be placed, about 3 inches of the bottom of the thank is not making contact with the stand along the front of the whole tank. I posted pictures of the gap, which is no more than 1/8". Is that a big deal? would some extra padding under the front of the tank fix that? I was thinking of putting a couple of layers of the foam kitchen drawer liner. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! Looks simple, I was worried uneven support would result in leaks down the road.
