So bought a new tank. It's a 36x36x31 eurobraced tank. It's a beast. I got it home. I thought my doors were 32inches, which they are.., what I didn't account for is the 1.5 inches of jams. So even with taking the doors off the tank still won't fit. Removing the jams aren't an easy task as the house is from the 1830s and the door jams are pretty well in place and not easily replaced.

I do have a very large picture window that is more than big enough. The issue is the window is 5 feet off the ground and the tank weighs 300lbs. Removing the picture window and storm window won't be terrible but still a project.

With 0 degree temps here for the next couple weeks I don't think the tank will be coming inside any time soon.

Anyone else struggle getting their tank in their house?

Do you have access to a shrink ray gun ?

Where is the tank going once you get it in the house? Are you going to have more doorways or other obstacles to deal with? Might want to get a different size tank if you can still return it.

Once inside I can get it to its final resting place. Luckily I have the large picture window!

I also bought a utility cart to move my aquariums, it is only 3 ft though but helps me maneuver the tanks around by myself. Of course I have acrylic though.
