Tank Toppers

Suggestions for best tank lids (to protect jumpers) but still allow the proper lighting through? 75g mixed reef with 2 Ai Hydra 32s.

There is a middle brace and the tank came with two glass tops, but the hinged section interferes with lighting.

Glass tops stink because they fog up and block light. You can make a do it your self mesh lid for cheap, or order a fancy custom one from Clearview Lids.

I'm in the same. boat. I am using current USA led. i want to use two instead of one but the hinge, the plastic in back.
two pieces of egg crate is an idea. there are diy 1/4 and 1/8 inch mesh kits available. the mesh would allow a lot of the light to enter at an angle, the eggcrate would give you a straight down lighting but would diffuse the angle light
