Hi!

Recently did a tank transfer about a week ago. I didn't transfer my live sand over. Instead I put a mix of dry Aroganite and crushed coral. I'm expected to see some sort of little
Bloom after the transfer but just want to make sure everything is looking good so far. Check out the pics below and let me know! Is this normal? How long will this last and will it stain the little crushed coral pieces on the floor ?

Water parameters are perfect and I already did a water change (I plan to do them weekly)

Thanks !

Hard to tell by your photos. what color is it when the whites are on? doesn't look like cyano , however.

If brown then diatoms. completely normal and will go away once the silicates from the new sand are depleted.

Here's a Bette pic! Today it really flared up. So nothing to be concerned about? Should I try cleaning the gravel or just let it be?

Thanks !

I'd just leave. if you clean the sand it will just come back until the silicates in the water are gone.
