So I’ll be transferring a Jbj 20 cube to a Biocube 32. This is how I’m going to do it. Tell me what you think. First I’ll be taking all corals out and putting in a heated tub with a airstone. Then I’ll remove all equipment, ato, light , heater, and wave pumps. I’m going to soak most in citric acid bath while getting ready to clean. I’ll drain water into a bucket for use in new tank down to the sand an inch. I’ll place rocks in said water except for the bottom rock. Bottom rock has to get rinsed. I’ll break down old tank and move it. I’ll set up new tank with new sand and re scape using old rock plus a few new ones. Then time to fill with new water And most of my old water. Get everything to temp then glue down corals. I’ll add some bacteria to minimize a new cycle. Lastly I’ll transfer fish. I only have 3 firefish. Set up wave makers and viola done. What do you think of this method? I’m nervous because I have a lot of high grade coral.

I agree with JCM
I'm doing my switch next weekend if all goes well.
Taking water and transferring to brute cans.
Each tank will have its own cans and the fish from that tank will go into their cans
Corals and rock into other cans
Remove existing tanks
Install new tank
Place rocks then sand my corals will be out of water for a few minutes while setting up the scape but that's no different than fragging.
I also have 340 gallons premix ready to go with parameters matching our sps tank water so we are going to start filling with that then add all the fish at the same time and use the old water after that.
Bacteria is all in the rocks and media so I'm not adding any extra.
Good luck with your transfer.

You should be fine I did something similar with a 70 gallon to a 90 gallon expect I moved so I placed a couple of the rocks in the tank a few days before I moved the coral and fish.

Good idea to replace the sand I used live Fiji pink sand. If your not using live sand soak it in a bucket for a few days to get the dust off of it. Tip I had my tank half full so it was easier to scape then added rest of water
