I’ve had a nano 20 gallon up and running now for almost three months. I have 6 corals in it. Two clown fish, a fire shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. I also have a cleanup crew of assorted snails and a couple of hermit crabs. I am almost finished with the stand I built and I will be transferring everything into a 37 gallon cube. I was hoping for any tips that anyone can give me on the move into the new tank. What’s the best way to do this.

Move the rock, rinse the sand.
Will the old tank need to be moved first? Thats a big question.......

pls take pics of the transfer so we can link to the sand rinse thread, Lapin called it step by step yep. rinse the new sand to cloudless perfection, not 10% cloud but cloud-free, then just move it all with all new water.

So I opted out of all new water. Not sure as to why. I went the route of just transferring my 20 gallon tank to the new 37 gallon cube. I am trying to mimick a 50% water change. I believe I made the right choice. I acclimated the fish to the new water. I didn’t want to shock them when they will be added to the new display. I also have a 13 gallon wide screen cycling the rock I will be adding in the future. I really didn’t want to do the cycle process again in the new display tank. I am uploading pictures as requested of the move. I hope that things go well in this new tank. I worked really hard on it from building the stand myself, buying a rodi system, to spending 7 hours to do the transfer properly. Please give feedback if you like. I am learning g and I really take everyone’s opinions seriously.
