Tank turnaround

Well I haven't posted in a while. Since the tank went south it has somewhat started to look better. Very sad watching all the coral just waste away not knowing what was the problem. Best I can figure the water was too clean. Everything tested ok but lost all my SPS except a milli that seems to be back, and a few others that are trying to survive. All lps except the acan's and duncan also gone. I removed the filter socks and stepped up the water changes as a final step and seemed to work. All fish and cleanup crew are doing fine although had a clown to jump and an anthias that got beaten up by the other two. Now the decision to continue the new build or not. I am thinking I will go ahead but really hard to with the big hit!!

Sorry for the losses man. If you're interested I can frag you a couple things to help you restart. Hope things keep improving.

I hear ya, Corey. I lost a ton of fish at the beginning of the year. Along with life issues and challenges, my heart just hasn't been in it. I'm finally starting to feel it again, though, and am anxious to get my tank where it should be.

I think we all go through a phase like this in the salty world. Keep your head up and get that new tank built and you'll be glad you did. If you didn't have a tank what would you worry about every day? lol

Corey, I hate to read this. BUT MAN, IVE BEEN THERE. When I started losing coral in my 180 after it had been so full I was devastated. I could not point to one single factor. I completely lost interest in it. Moving to the 66 gallon system has been the best thing for me. It too has had its ups and downs, but I think I FINALLY have it stable. All corals are flourising. YOu can get back there man, just take your time...
