I am filling my JBJ 30 rimless today and got about 23 gallons in and noticed the waterline has about a 1/4 inch difference between the front of the display and the back of the display with more water towards the front. When I use my level the stand and the glass seem level but the waterline isn't. Do I need to drain the tank to fix it? Can I leave it? What should I do about it? If I completely fill the tank will it fix itself?

Carpet on top of concrete I believe. I am in a second floor apartment so who knows.

That is weird. The carpet should allow the tank to adjust itself. It it doesn't, add some foam between the tank and the stand. That will for sure fit it.

shim the front of the stand with some sort of a matt?
I'd avoid shimming the tank itself due to stresses on the seals.
Let the stand take the brunt of it with the floor.

apartments are known for floor defects

The weight of the water is probably compressing the floor surface, whether it's wood or carpet. Assuming your tank is up against a wall, that would explain why the front is compressing more than the back. Finish filling your tank, wait a day or so for things to settle, then add shims until you're level.

After further inspection it appears just to be the back right corner that is off from the rest

The stand has 4 little feet, can I shim it while there is water in it or will I have to drain it? The tank is rimless and already has foam between it and the stand. Should I be worried about the tank cracking?

It won't crack the tank, but over time it could lead to a seam failure.

Its got bent glass corners on the front. Would it be possible to shim with water still in the tank?
