Tank up grade question

If you are satisfied with your setup, transfer everything as fast as possible. I made the mistake of setting up a transfer tank that wasn't cycled fully and have had lots of losses. But I wanted a full reboot, so that's the down side of a slow move.

In my experience, just replace the sand, move over all your rock and corals along with any equipment and as much of your water as possible and you should be able to start right up. I did exactly that when I almost doubled my display tank size (except I switched to barebottom in the move) and I had no cycle or losses.

So u saying use new sand? Or can i use 50/50?
