Hey guys,
Check out my new tank! I've been wanting to get a wider tank for more depth, so I just upgraded from a 90 gallon reef ready oceanic tank (48L x 18W x 24H) to a 150 leemar eurobraced tank (48L x 30W x 24H) that I bought from zduster7<~~~ cool guy even help deliver it with me. Sorry for the crappy iphone pics and shaky video. lol

So here's the old tank:

Seriously dude, I absolutely LOVE your aquascape. In my opinion, your aquascape definitely go's against the rule of thirds, but in this case, works extremely well. My only criticism would be the chalices on the sandbed near the center pillar. Looks to unnatural perfectly centered and spaced around the center pillar. Plus with your awesome aquascape, I would try and leave the sandbed as clutter free as possible.

Definitely understand your point. I'm still trying to figure it out. Thanks for the input for sure! Plus my cousin is thinking about breaking down his tank and he just dumped a bunch of chalices on me so now the sand bed is even more crowded. LOL

Aquascape is really cool. Tank looked good before too.

Looks great man. Could you take a vid or some shots of the sump? Would love to get a little more info on everything.

Ill try to get a picture or video of it by tomorrow. Still trying to silence it. I heard I should try the Herbie standpipe or something like that.

Man that is awsome. I really like the minimalistic look. I read a article years back in a magizine about using bommies to help with flow and to keep softies away from sps and lps. I have been thinking about doing it but now looking at how nice your tank looks I will. Very nice !!!!!

Keep the pictures coming! I almost had a 150 and those dimensions are to die for! Love the aquascaping as well! Great job!

Bommies are found on reef flats. They are small piles of rocks surrounded by sand and tend to be dominated by a particular type of coral like sps. Fish love these because the current flows all around it and in aquariums give them more swim run and open space. Looking at your tank that is what it reminds me of anyway. Either way it is a beautiful tank.
