So in the next few weeks I will be upgrading from a 90 gallon to a 150. Tank is running good, I am going to reuse my sand and all rock in the tank. I already have most of my rock for my new tank soaking in water from a water change a couple weeks ago and changing it weekly with my weekly water changes. So I know I'll be adding a good bit of new water as well as a couple new bags of sand. Should I be looking for any mini cycles or anything out of it? Should I use any of the water from where I've had this rock soaking and use it or just use full new water? In the past I've always done small upgrades like 75 to a 90 then a 90 to a 100 and so on. This will be my first time adding this much new water to a system in an upgrade so I'm kind of curious

Some of the water yes- Sand, NO
START with new sand

Personally I would use new water. Just to give it a fresh start. Although I think anything would.
