Tank Upgrade, removing Vermetid Snail

Hi All,

I've recently purchased a RedSea Reefer 750 and will be upgrading from a 350, I'd like to move my existing rock over to the new tank as there are some really nice pieces and I dont want to them to go to waste.

I do however have quite a large Vermetid Snail problem. What is the best way for me to remove the Snails without harming any of the encrusted corals?

Was thinking a wire brush and giving them a good scrub?

The big ones I smash, the little ones I scrape. Note; The "little ones" make those needle-like shells that stab me when I find them!

They are hard to eradicate by hand because they are easy to miss especially if they are inside a rock crevice. Good luck!

Bumblebee snails should take care of them.
