Right now have a 120g mixed reef

would like to upgrad size of tank, my yellow belly blue regal will need a larger tank eventually

looking to upgrade size of tank, 150,180,220...pros and cons of sizes

water changes-how much would be completed, is there more mainteanance with a larger tank, i was always told the larger the tank the more stable and easier to maintain conditions

Looking forward to hearing back-thanks

If it was me, I'd go as big as possible bc upgrading to 150 or 180 from 120 I think would leave u disappointed. Yes the larger the tank, the maintenance will be more time consuming due to larger tank size/water volume, i.e. 10% WC for 120 = 12 gals vs 22 gals for 220, more glass to clean etc. And no, a larger tank is not necessarily more stable, it's just more forgiving should tank husbandry be neglected simply due to the larger water volume.
