Tank upgrade to waterbox 35.2 build

Decided to upgrade my top fin aquarium and move up to a waterbox 35.2 aio. Its currently in the garage and before the summer heat its time to start the plan to become the highlight of the entry way of the house with upgrades.

The move is into a waterbox 35.2 aio

equipment upgrades:

lighting : ai prime 16 hd

return pump: mighty jet dc return pump

protein skimmer: Tunze Comline Doc 9001 Protein Skimmer/ 9004 or the IceCap K1 nano skimmer ?

media reactor:

Innovative Marine Minimax Pro Series Media Reactor​

heating: eheim jager 200 watts

wave maker: nero 5

Nice an upgrade is always good fun, will be fun seeing how you incorporate your current stock into the new tank!

I second the Tunze 9004...i have the same tank. Super quiet and disappears without being obnoxious sticking out the top.

Mine always pulls like dark tea skimmate, and smells like someone blew up the restroom when I go to clean it.
Maybe my bioload is just higher

I just moved from having my skimmer on 24h to 12h with lights on since I want slightly more dirty water for a nem. Before, I was cleanning out every week, and the water level is hard to see due to how tight the space is ?

Yeah same apparently it has a water level mark on the back but a cant be done pulling it out to see

I pretty much saw the water level was right at the top of the first magnet, so I just used a light when I placed mine to verify it was about there.
But, I think some people raise it a bit higher or lower too idk

Loving the new tank. No skimmer needed so far being a smaller tank. Just need to change the filter socks and add some chemi pure blue In each of the two media chambers
