ok, my 15g is getting stuffed.. soo.... I'm thinking during the next $1/g sale I'll upgrade to a 29g (this will be easy/cheap because my stand was meant for the 29g). I have a 5g sump as of right now, plenty of live rock for now (I'll slowly add either live or dry later after the upgrade and after things have stabilized).

my quesion is, should I fill the new 29g with bagged live sand (like arag-alive) or just start with dry sand? or should I slowly add one or the other rather than starting with a full sand bed?

how well will my corals/clam survive the upgrade?

thoughts? suggestions? advice?

Thanks,
Garrett

you should skip the 29 and go for the 40G at the $1 per gallon sale..

That would require a new stand, light hanger, light (which I might upgrade anyway), etc, plus that would be harder to accomplish without crashing my tank. With the 29 I can double my dt size for under $40..
