Hi everyone!
In the summer, I'm planning to upgrade my (almost) 1yr OfferUp/2nd hand 29g tank and ~8g sump to a CADE Reef 600 S2. I was told my one of my father's employees that if I wanted to be involved in this hobby long term that I should invest in a Red Sea tank, that brought up my interest in purchasing a higher quality aquarium which brought my attention to a lower volume version of the Reef2Reef Christmas Giveaway of last year. There are many reasons why I love this tank from the behind-the-tank ATO reservoir to the built in power strip. Is there anything that I should know about or research about this tank? Is there a better aquarium out there that beats this one in features and price?

Definitely check out some of the waterbox setups too, they have many different kinds that are very similar to redsea. It is really up to preference and features but those are the two most comparable.

I checked them out and they seem very similar to Red Sea (like you said), thanks for the reference!

lol there are so many options out there that can be "long term". Red sea isn't the end all be all by any means. It is a good tank though. Just got a Fiji Cube 22g, beautifully constructed tank, and sump. I'm more the DIY type so way cheaper than buying the whole kit. Waterbox is another option. Then any manner of custom. All are "long term", or standard tanks from aqueon, marineland, etc. They'll all last. Cade looks nice, honestly though I don't like that ATO at all. Whats the selling point? A bigger footprint tank, but for an ATO resivoir and not DT, plus you have to lift the water to the top of your tank every time you want to refill it? Or plumb in another pump to push/pull it in.
