Tank upgrade

I will be moving in a few months and plan to upgrade my 35g tank to a 125g at this time. I will be transferring the live rock and whatever water I have to the 125 but my question is I made a confusing purchase of 120 lbs of sand that I thought was live but is not. Will this cause me a problem? would I be ok to use half the not live sand and purchase some live sand and mix the 2. I will be able to set the tank up and let run a couple days before I would need to transfer the fish and corals. Would this be enough or should I dose a bacteria and if so what would you suggest... As long as you are moving the live rock you should be fine, other than some diatom growth that will probably arise from the sand. You can add bottled bacteria if you want.....won't hurt anything but you should have sufficient bacteria growth on the live rock. I would think about purchasing additional live rock though since what you have in the 35 probably isn't enough for a (future) heavily stocked 125.

Thanks for the reply.. I do plan to add more live Rock but with everything going on in the move it may take me a week to get to the store and get some with everything going on. I have looked into the bottled bacteria so will probably do this just to ease my nerves a little. Thanks
