Hey guys thought I would get people’s opinions I want to upgrade to bigger tank but was wondering if people think I should increase my filtration more for the new build or not specs

Old
4ft tank (121x35x40)cm
Water volume 190 litres
6mm glass

Filtration
2ft sump
Protein skimmer (400l) an hour
2x fluval canisters (200l) each
2x heaters (200l) each

Lighting
2x Radion gen 4 pros
Going for
3x Radion gen 4 pro for 6ft tank

New tank
6ft tank
(182x60x60) cm
10mm glass
Water volume 650 litres

Opinions people

Yup, sure would. I don't see a return pump so I am assuming that you are using the canister filters for return flow. On that alone, you need an upgrade. A lot depends on what you plan on stocking the tank with too. Also your regional climate, more particularly what you keep your home temperature at. The stocking question will relate directly to skimmer needs as well. So, in summary, a bit more info would go along way to getting better and more precise answers.

Most importantly, will the sump be big enough to contain the drain down from the bigger tank. You probably will need a third heater. Other than that, depends really on stocking levels.
