Life source. Life BioFil Full AF 150 Media Reactor. ZeoMix, Carbon, Phosphate Minus mixed in second AF 150. Iodium, Kalium , Strontium when needed (ICP testing). Component 1,2,3+ dosing base on water testing by Aquaforest Pro - Tests or ICP.

Hello! awesome thread! I am using all Aquaforest currently on my 60 gallon tank and love it but I am in the process of building my dream tank which is 360 gallons!!! On the baby tank I am using component 123 to dose mag, calc and alk. I have a ton of coral and am going through the additives pretty quickly to keep my water at the right levels. I plan to have a ton of high demand coral in the big tank but am concerned that the component 123 will be extremely expensive. Will mixing up my own Aquaforest Mag, Kalk and Alk give me the same result as the component 123 but be the more economical way to go? Is this what people with big tanks do with the Aquaforest program?

I am on all Aquaforest products except I’m still using Vinegar dosing verses NP Pro. My Nitrates and Phoshates hang around 0 with heavy feeding and some coral food as well as ever other day dose of ABEV. I want to just convert off Vinegar to NP Pro and Pro Bio S but a bit nervous. My tank has Med growth, trouble with some colors especially pink and deep reds. Wondering if the switch to NP Pro verses Vinegar is worth the effort and possible issue in my reef?? Anyone else make the change and find things doing much better?? I am having a long issue with Diatom which I think could have been caused by adding 2 Gyre to my tank in Oct.

Also, I travel, how critical is it if there are weeks I only add Pro Bio S 3-4 times verses daily?

I had to come back with another post on this latest masterpiece; your scape is absolutely spot on! Just the right amount of shelves and angles for numerous acro placement with clear flow lines for healthy growth. One of my challenges at this point. Look forward to seeing this scape 12 months from now!

I use the phytoplankton twice a week and zooplankton 5-6 days a week. My pods thrive and reproduce like crazy and the corals and fish go nuts over the zooplankton so I guess it works. Dose it look as good as those. No because I only have as many corals. But it I did it would. I will continue to use those products because I believe they work or at least help.
