The pro bio f is really for starting a tank. The np pro and pro bio s are what you need [emoji4]

Thanks! I have all of it but I read on a random thread that Pro bio F is for nanos or something

Pro bio f is
Probiotic Bacteria with a culture medium for the proliferation of bacterioplankton.

Pro bio s is
Probiotic Bacteria that greatly help maintain water conditions. By absorbing and converting organic materials, nitrate, and phosphate . [emoji4]

You are right its generally for nano, but people use it alternatively with Pro Bio S and NP Pro as it serves the same purpose like them.

Quick update,
I continue to loose corals. Asd wolverine just rtned. It had browned out on me and just peeled away today smh. I hate this hobby at times. Im through with cutting, and fraging stuff in hopea of saving it. I will just let nature take its course. 80% of the tank looks fantastic, the other 20 is eather dying or dead. If they do so be it.

Sorry to hear...

Tank in recovery. Everything the made it is coming back to life and my crash

I asked in a separate thread but thought I'd ask here as well.
I've decided to go all in with AF I've been using their Probiotic Salt for a while and just picked up everything else for a SPS dominate tank.

I plan to run,
Pro Bio S
NP Pro
Component 1,2,3
AF Energy
Build
Amino
Vitality
Power Food

Carbon
Zeo
Phos

even got Fish V and Garlic Oil.

I have some questions if anyone can help me.
I travel a lot and need to automate this as much as possible. I have 7 dosing pumps and 5 magnetic stirrers.

1. Can I mix any of the products together beforehand?
2. Can I mix products with RO water beforehand to make it easier to run through my dosers.
3. Which products should I stir? * I see in the guide which can be stirred so disregard this question.
4. Which products need to be refrigerated lower than 65 F.

Thanks.

All good questions, I auto dose 1+2+3+ Np pro and have been experimenting with mixing ro/di and dosing Pro Bio s. Carbon. Zeo Phos that just need to be replaced. The rest I have not idea.
1. NO, or they would be mixed already:)
2. I am messing around with the Pro Bio S
4. I keep all of mine in the cabinet under the DT and 76 degrees

excellent thanks for the answer. My AF delivery is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I decided to buy two triton tests as well. I'm going to do one before I start than one after a few months. Im curious about element levels. of AF vs Red Sea which I'm on now.

At the moment I am dosing but still under the recommended 1 drop per 27 gallons. The only thing I noticed on week 2 was a growth of diatom brown algae on glass. This has been showing up less and less this week.

Week 3 dosing is as follows:

Pro bio s - Daily 6 drops
Np pro - Daily 6 drops

Af energy - Mon-Wed-Fri - 6 drops
Af build - Mon-Wed-Fri - 6 drops
Af vitality - Tue-Thurs-Sat - 6 drops
Af aminomix - Tue-Thurs-Sat - 6 drops
Af power food - 2 scoop - Sat-Sun

Components 1+2+3:

Dosing 1+ at 20ml per day
Dosing 2+ at 5ml per day
Dosing 3+ at 20ml per day

My test readings have been as follows:
Ca 400 - 425
Mg 1200 -1300
Phos .08ppm*
Alk 7.6
NO3 25*
Both Po4 and No3 have not increased since taking the bio pellets offline and the po4 has decreased in half over the 3 week period. No3 I have not seen any drops yet. I will continue to monitor these two parameters to see the where they go as I dose Pro Bio S and NP pro.

Now about the corals:
Week 1 purchases all were very inexpensive frags and all are doing fine except a Hollywood stunner chalice and an unknown sps. Both have shown anger towards my ALK issues but none have completely perished nor have gotten to the point of no return. Both seem to be coming back. The chalice started to STN from the outside in but has stopped. The sps shows burnt tips but has also stopped. All zoes are super opened and look totally happy.

Week 2 purchases were aquaculture corals and they have lost color but polyp expansion is super. They were not happy campers after the bayer dip nor happy about the ALK spike. But no tissue recession, just a little brown but full polyp expansion. I expect a full recovery from them.
There were additional purchases week 3 into week 4. All are doing great with full polyp extension.

Here is my FTS as of 12-28-16

Looking good!

Any one know if there is any ill effects from switching from AF reef salt to the Probiotic? I just got my order in and they sent the wrong salt.. packing slip has reef salt but thats not what they packed.

Got mine today! Mixed my first salt with it...I'm impressed by how fast it dissolves

When I get home I'm going to do tests on freshly made saltwater and see how close their alk, cal, and mag come in at
