Making the components yourself is easy also.

I started out with buying the premixed jugs.

Those hold 5000ml of each component

So you follow this recipe and multiply all of it including the water X 5

Might have to buy the premixed for the first one....then get all the ingredients to make it my self...my alk barely drops in a week or so but possibly because I do weekly water changes but doesn't hurt to have it on hand for when the time comes that I need it. What do you reccomend for af products for removal of nitrates and phosphates?

Why multiply by 5?

Because your mixing the dry ingredients with 5000ml of water not 1000ml [emoji4]

Pro bios , np pro and phosphate minus.

That's really low nitrate.... so you have any zoas or soft coral?

Yes I have some Zoas and I have an Acan lord, torch, and a frogspawn.

I use them as an indicator for my nutrients. If the colors on them start to fade then I know I'm to lean. I usually just feed heavier and it's all good . [emoji4]

How do I get my parameters to where I want them?

Dose pro bio s and np pro to reduce nitrates and phostaptes. Then do 15% water changes for 6 weeks then balance your 3 params then dose component 1,2 3 from what I read

How I started the switch over was I did 15% water changes and then started dosing the pro bio s and np pro. Then i balanced the big 3 parameters and started dosing the components 1,2,3
