Subtract from 100?

For example .o4 after taking your measure from the bottom of the plunger, or 40-100=60 which give the reading of 1200 ppm magnesium.
 
Really sorry, I'm at work so can't visualize it...lol I'm trying man I truly am. Usually the plunger is at 3.5
Ok problem solved....1-0.35=0.65 which is 1300ppm. I hope you understand...

3.5 would be 35 -100=65 which is 1300ppm

Ok so I don't get how that formula works but not the chart.... u read the titrant used and u compare with what the chart tells you...
