Amd what would you recommend for media to put in a reactor? I don't have a sump so no room to put in tank. But I have a hob reactor

Components 1,2,3 are for calcium,magnesium, alkalinity, and reef mineral salts those are for dosing and supply the needed elements for corals to grow. [emoji4]


Two different things




A,B,V,E are for corals

A is for AF Amino mix= coral Energy

B is AF Build= for faster coral growth skeleton

V is AF vitality = vitamins

E is for AF Energy= coral food

I would do the stack method in a reactor

Zeomix on the bottom, then a layer of carbon, and phos minus on top. Once the phos minus tumbles just a little then that's the proper flow through the reactor. [emoji4]

Is it absolutely necessary?? I'd say no but it sure helps. The more surface area you have for beneficial bacteria the better , the more efficient your biological system will be.

If it were me I'd add the matrix if you have it. [emoji6]

So the way I understand it, life bio fill is a media that the bacteria grows in from using np pro and bio s. Which helps achieve ulns. Then you have vitality, build, amd energy that are coral supplements that help corals grow and be strong, then you have aminos which are specifically the nutrients that coral need to survive once ulns has been achieved. You have pro bio f which is the bacteria and carbon source to help keep nutrients down, power food for corals, fish vitamins, and garlic, and then you have carbon to clean the water so to speak...am I in the ballpark on this?

I'm finally at the point where I'm dialing down how many drops in supposed to do with the np pro and the bio s. My nitrates have stayed LOW and so are my phosphates ...now trying to keep 3-5 nitrate and phosphate under .1ppm

You almost nailed it...no you actually nailed it.lol..
The only thing is...Life bio fil also contain probiotic bacteria in it thats why its called Life bio fill (life inside possibly) and it also houses them.

I think I'll only use life bio fill, carbon, and phosphate minus from aquaforest....that should being me to full af line

That is what I found works best for me.
In 80 gallons of water volume I use
1 cup carbon placed in stocking footie on top of the life bio fil
1/4 cup of phosphate minus in a small reactor
30 oz of life bio fil lose in my flow tray. I replaced %20 after 8 weeks.
