I have a question maybe someone here can answer. Do the component 1,2,3 expire? I have some 5 liters jugs of the 1,2,3 that I started using last year and been sitting in storage for a good 7-8 months.

Ideally no as they are chemical only. I would pour them in a bucket to see if it has any precipitation or growth in it.

Yes you can . You may find some red precipitation in component 1 but thats normal. I used to store them 4-5 months after preparation and they were fine.

I just started 1 2 3 was previously dosing brs 2 part my mag never moves I was doing as suggested by randy once I dose a certain amount of cal and alk then add said amount of mag its maybe once every other month. so with switching my mag has risen a lot should I go back to previous way of dosing but using the aquaforest product

I had the same experience with Mag that didn't seem to move at all. So much that I even stopped the doser on it and still didn't move. Wasn't until I noticed white rocks due to coralline die off that I knew somethign was wrong to test. Sure enough. Mag super low, but oddly I was able to maintain the other two just fine. I moved over to 123 as well since I was already about to start corrections and has been running stable again for many months.

If you prepare your own 123 then you can do that by skipping the Mg in the 3rd solution.

I'm a week into it and I have algea all over my glass everyday before it was once a week idk if its something in the 3 part or the biotic salt it's very odd I wont do another water change for a month or two to see if it helps

Its because of the probiotic salt. It contains amino acid and vitamins along with probiotic bacteria. It will effect your nutrient level.
