Does anyone here keep a tank strictly no lighting? Maybe for inverts, or rock only bins?

Good question

I have a large trash can in the garage plumbed in with my frag tanks and it's full of rock.

I was really asking because I would like to start a bin of live rock for future use when my display is set up. Wanted to know if others have done this ,or if they keep a active bin for other purposes. Thanks for the response. Here's a pic of my last set up.

Look into "cryptic zones". It's similar to/a style of refugium that exists in the dark to be more accomodating to filter feeders like sponges, tunicates, and other critters that prefer such environments.
