That is what I had figured but thought I would check to be sure. Probably does a great job giving you flow behind your rockwork!
As the tank matures even more (looks pretty good now) I bet it will blend more into the background (it largely does already). It is hard to do otherwise without building a massive aquascape in front of it.

I'm running a 6ft custom built Nanobox led fixture. Amazing light. Every light is hand built. I highly highly recommend this light.
