Ive got 10 red mangroves and 6 black mangroves on order. My question is about the tannins leached from the mangroves. I guess more so in the black? Im new to growing mangroves and could use some advice. Thanks!

I could be totally wrong, but I do not believe it is something you need to worry about. Your mangroves are going to be very small for a very long time. Between water changes, filters, having a short half life, and some precipitation within the system you will have very little to worry about.

I have about 20 that are 3 or so feet high and have never noticed any water clarity or ph issues.

Are these black, white, or red mangroves your keeping? And thanks for answering.

Honestly, I'm not sure.
