Good morning reefers! I recently purchased a BRS RODI filter. So I no longer will be using straight tap water. I know, I know...shoulda never used it in the first place . That being said, it's water change day and I was wondering, should I just continue to do 10% and let things cycle out naturally, or maybe consider a larger water change today? All my fish and corals seem really happy in each of my 3 tanks, so part of me says leave well enough alone and stick to the 10% but there are some really wise/smart people on here that I'm certain I can learn from!

Thanks everyone!

Yes, just do regular water changes. Changing too much at once can cause a shock to the system. And if everything is currently happy, you want to try to keep it that way ;)

Unless somthing is madjorly wrong try to stay away from water changes larger than 20% as even this stresses out fish and coral eg imagine if the sky came 20% closer in 5 minutes. Or imagine if the sky game 50% closer in 10 minutes. That’s similar to what our fish feel
