A while back I got into the lazy habit of buying "RO" water from my neighborhood market's water vending machine. Before I knew it, I was fighting a losing battle with GHA that almost drove me out of the hobby. After talking with some buddies locally, I learned many of them went through the same painful experience with vending machine water.
I then started buying topoff water from LFS but soon found out that some only have RO water and of course, the one with RODI was one furthest away from me. Nevertheless it has been worth the drive and now I'm algae free! I'll never use anything other than RODI again and I also just ordered a RODI unit from BRS on cyber monday, since the drive to the LFS has been getting old...
