my return pump was all of a sudden pumping out a ton of macro bubbles. the return line was a little lose on the end connected to the pump and was allowing air bubbles in. i took it out dried it off and put plumbers tape around the male part of the pump put the tubing back on zip tied it and then wrapped it in WRAP IT its similar to electrical tape but for plumbing but my question is, is this going to negatively impact my aquarium, will this tape deteriorate or is it generally safe to use??

I've never heard of "Wrap It", but can tell you that silicone tape is reef safe.

This stuff?

It should be ok what other cautions where on the back? Might be fun getting off when you have to replace the pump.:)

My coralife skimmer has an air tube on the outlet. When open makes a TON of big bubbles and micro bubbles. I ties a knot in the tube and it got rid of most of the bubbles.

It's this stuff and yes it may be hard to get off the hose but the out put for my pump just screws right off. So really it shouldn't be too much of a challenge.
