Taper off NoPox? Or Cold Turkey?

I've been dosing NoPox for high nitrates for about 6 months....started with nitrate levels above 50. The middle of May my nitrates were below 20 and getting lower weekly. I also started my fuge (Chaeto) back up recently, and for the last week, nitrates have been around 2ppm (Hanna). I would like to slowly taper down my NoPox dose as the fuge starts to do more of its job.....but I also do not want my Nitrtes to drop to 0 (been there done that with Dinos on my my last tank).

I currently have a tank volume of 120 gallons, and dose 10mls of NoPox a day. How do I safely cut that back?

Temp 79

It is a mixed reef - mostly LPS and softies

The fuge is nutrient export. The nopox is being used to control no3. U tested and u are at 2 for no3. If u stop using it the no3 w rise. And then the fuge would b used to control it.

Thank you....but I guess my question is, do I stop NoPox at once? Or taper down as the fuge ramps up more?

I would stop using it, run the fuge and test. It’s low already. See how that goes before changing another variable. If it works too well u may have to start feeding it sodium nitrate to get it 10-15 for a tight range. But softy lps I’m sure can handle 15-20. I look for stability

I personally do not think it matters which route you go.
