I've recently started to collect some torches with the intention to grow them out. Nothing commercial but I wanna do it the good way and wondering what grow rate is manageable.
One of the things that I do is target feed daily. After some acclimation every torch starts to grab the food and they all look happy and are growing. I don't have any scientific background but I read as much as possible and try to filter the noise to keep the accurate information :)
Some are saying that corals don't have a digesting tract what would mean that the food stays inside to rot from the inside out. Is there any scientific information about this topic?
I was thinking that the corals do digest the food and poop the rest out again through there 'mouth'. Definitely want to know more about this.

cheers
Peter

They do absolutely eat and poop. How it all works im not sure. They woudnt eat if the food was going to rot inside them.
