So what's everybody's technique with target feeding corals with aggressive fish. My dilemma is I try to feed my brains, acans, favia, etc mysis and I have a Naso Tang and a purple Tang who will attack the pipette as soon as I put it in the water. If I chase them off they will pull the mysis right out of the coral while the corals try and reel the food in. Nearly impossible.

Any suggestions?

Two ways. One is to take them out with tank water and feed them separately. The other is to cut out the top portion of a plastic bottle and put that over the top of each coral and then target feed it through the top of the plastic cover.

I use a water bottle cutted in half and after covering the coral with the bottle I insert the pipette thru the bottle top feeding the coral and letting the coral eat.
Hope it help.

I'll try this, gonna be tough, have lots of coral from one end to the other on 140 gallon.

My suggestion is to not target feed the corals. They don't need it. The occasional morsel from feeding they may get will be enough.
