I was checking out reefbuilders and came across an article about the tattoo jawfish and I gotta say that I AM IN LOVE!!!!
I always thought the bluespot was a pretty jawfish but this guy is just incredible!

So who has ever had one of these guys or even seen one before? I know I hadn't ever seen one before this

Fantastic looking fish, but you would need a DEEP sandbed for that monster. Oh yeah, DEEP pockets too. Hahahaha

Lol I'm sure your right about both!!
I figure if Liveaquaria gets ahold of 1 it'll be in the 1500-2000 dollar price range if not more

Pretty sure no one outside of japan would have ever had one.... And probably won't for quite a while.

It's supposed to be the first live specimen right? It's down right gorgeous! But looks HUUUUGE!

Look at the fish to the left at 1:08 of the video. It looks like he has ick! What a shame to put that rare beautiful fish in the same tank.

Great looking fish but coming from so deep would IMO be hard to keep + as was pointed out you would need to find one for sale + $$$$$
