Though I'd just share my progression on my reef themed full sleeve. Still have a ways to go but it's coming together nicely.

Thats awesome! how much time total would you say you have invested ?

Started my first session Friday, have another 4-hour session this coming Friday. Full-sleeve, but not reef related at all.

I was just having the discussion with someone about the proper etiquette, and I am going to tip him the second I walk in the door. I didn’t realize you tip after each session. Stupid me!

Then I will be back on track!

How is he doing it? Outlining, then shading/color? Or working on small parts at a time?

Yeah I usually tip around 20% each session. Part of the hourly rate they charge goes back into the shop so the artist doesn't get the full amount so I like to tip them well especially if they are doing a good job.

My artist tattooed the majority of the outline work first. Then he went back in and did most of the bulk color work. After that we would just start filling in the the empty areas with more corals. After all of the bulk color is done he then goes back and puts in all of the highlights and detail work. Definitely a process.
