There does look to be 5. Are all Eunice works opportunistic/predatory? There is probably a dozen in the rock that’ll I’ve seen this far. It would be a nightmare to get them all out, but u will certainly make an effort

There's quite a few species. Some stay small, others get big. It's hard to say what to do. Again in your case you have a manageable size tank, but if you want them out, find their hole, pull the rock and squirt some peroxide in it. They should fly out and the rock will be fine.

Hi all,

just came across this. I am doing. Entire build based on their rock and sand. Did an instant set up, no cycle , no curing rock, etc. I have a thread going. It’s a test project.

sort out how to trap them - I've seen people on R2R offer to buy them in the past.

After digging through WoRMS I think I found a match for the small worms I found- Eunice norvegica. Not too sure if they're good / bad/ neutral but they appear to get pretty large- about 41cm.

That also leads to a possible ID for the cup corals- Lophelia pertusa. It seems they're often found together. (It seems to be a coldwater coral but is also found in the carribean, so its feasible. It also kind of serves my theory that I got some deeper water rock, since I'm not seeing many of the creatures presented on the TBS website, even those it says are very common)

whats going on , i ordered 2 weeks ago probably.. did you hear anything from rich ?

I heard from Rich last week. He said that in the last seven weeks, they've only been able to get one dive in, with about 50 orders pending. Last week their boat engine was broken. They hoped to get in dives this week and get back to me. They haven't gotten back to me yet, but I don't want to be super pestery regarding it after my last email, so I'll let it lie for now.

TBS is great rock. This is not Aiptasia. Or I should say I don't believe it is. I have some in my tank and it is light brown, dark brown, or cream. Looks different than what you are showing. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong but I do not believe it is even native to the area. Thought I recall Richard having a list of what you may or may not see on his portal but I've not been there a while.
