Just wanted to share some of the hitchhikers I got in a nano shipment of rock + 2lbs of sand

The good: snails, coraline urchins (maybe?)
The coolest: tiger goby

The bad, really bad: Cirolanid Pods (I’ve seen and taken out 3 so far, haven’t seen any additional in the last 2 days so holding hope but understand it’s likely not the case.

Hmmm since this is a completely new tank maybe it would be worth it to just nuke them with interceptor. These can be nasty and difficult to remove.

Sure that's not a Sphaeromatid isopod? A top shot on it's eyes would help with ID, and you can check if they can curl (cirolanids can't). I got a spheromatid in my TBS.

Found them attached to my clowns so it’s likely Cirolanids - after catching they also never rolled into a ball

Yeah, that's bad. Fingers crossed you got them all! You on top of the stinky water trap business in case the infestation is worse?

Can anyone ID these corals?
