This coral took a beating at the beginning but it's settling in now. Here's an updated progression, which represents about a year's worth of growth.

Zibba what an amazing story, from disappearing nub to this beautiful healthy coral. This is definitely a feel good story

Holy crap nice growth dude! What lights you running?

Thanks. I run a combination of Hydra52s & Hydra26s. This piece was under a Hydra 52 getting about 300 par.

Thank you @larangcon! There's been another plot-twist in this story, unfortunately. I discovered AEFWs and they were taking a major toll on some of my other acros. This particular piece never seemed phased by the worms but I'm taking steps to completely remove the AEFWs from my system. This coral has been removed, with all of the other acros, and is being treated (dipped in bayer every 5 days for a few months) while the main display sits acro free. In the 3 months since I posted the last picture (9/15), I'd bet the coral doubled in size again. It was really settled in and it was a shame to remove it. I'm hoping that I'll get this coral and all of the others back to their glory-days. I did frag a branch from this coral to give to a friend (who knows that I have AEFWs) so that it could be backed-up.

Anyway, hoping that I can provide another comeback story in 3-6 months.

What a bummer, AEFW is such a pain in the you know what... This is what makes this hobby challenging, looking forward to your next update.

Anyone have any updates on their pikachus?

I have one I got from Unique Corals as a X-mas gift and hoping it gets that bright yellow!
