TDS meter for RO/DI unit?

I was looking at the BRS units and I see some have a TDS meter and some don't. The tds meter is nice as it can give you an indication when DI resin is depleted. The gage can give you an indication that your pre filters need to be replaced. You dont necessairly need the glycerin filled gauge, the cheaper one works just fine IMO. But both are great to have
