Let me start by saying when I first installed my RODI I forgot to flush. after I realized my mistake I let the water run for like 45 mins. Once I did that my water was at zero. i've only had the RODI a month and I read that not flushing shouldn't ruin the filter because of that one time. I made 2 more batches of water, all at 0 TDS. now i'm on like like 4th batch and I am getting 35 in a barrel and 14 in another. is there something that could be fouling up my water??? the only difference was I made water using my sink instead of the outside garden hose. I actually assumed using the sink would be better. Also, is it okay to still use the water i've already made? I'd hate to have to throw that out if I don't have to. thanks!

It's possible that your holding containers are increasing the TDS. Try measuring the TDS leaving the DI chamber. Recommend adding a inline TDS meter in the RO tubing leaving the filter for always knowing when your resin is depleted.

I've only used it 4 or 5 times. one is a food grade bucket from Lowe's and the other is a literal water container. ought I still be concerned? and can i still use the water? it's still relatively low.

Can you run in for a minute in a clean glass? Make sure you rinse the tds meter too, could have something on it giving you false results?

I ran it. I think you're right. everything reading 0 now except my new gal quarantine tank (which i didn't rinse like an idiot) is 3 TDS still ok to use?

After making 0 TDS water in a barrel, every day forward TDS will rise about 3ppm per day even with a closed lid.
So if you add new RODI to a barrel of week old RODI, it might be already have been 21ppm, even though the new stuff is zero.

I try to use what I make.
