Thanks

check a known source, ask a friend for a sample of rodi water and test that, or buy some distilled water and test that, even some bought distilled water can show tds though, you could always buy a 2nd meter, if both show the same reading then you know you are good, they are cheap enough.

Is this on an ro/di unit? If it is you dont calibate it.
You can/should use a hand held meter to check your effluent. Its the only way to verify that your water is actually zero.
I have had 1 tds meter for 20 years and its still accurate.

Why do you say you can’t use an inline tds meter? Of course you can, I personally don’t t but nothing wrong with inline, I just find a hand handle is easier to check multiple points on the system, and also they are easier to check they are still reading zero correctly.
