Just finished making water and it’s reading 5 TDS. Okay to still use?

No one can answer this because we don’t know what’s 5 ppm. Is it in line or the bucket?

Depends on what the remaining dissolved solids actually are that your TDS meter is measuring. TDS just tells you some amount of solids are dissolved in the water but not what.

It's in the bucket. I had 30% full with 0, by the time it had finished and I checked it was up to 5.

TDS can only be 0 just when the water has been processed. Tiny particles in air, all kinds of small things in storage container will increase TDS readings once the water has been stored.

Best way to measure it is to have an inline TDS meter - they are very cheap and last for years.
