TDS of rodi

thanks for the advice everyone... just retested tds in a clean glass, its 7. im thinking mt container is dirty or leaching something.. its a lexan for restaurant use
 
You don’t really want any TDS in your water, and 7 is quite high. Problem with DI is that as soon as it’s exhausted it starts to release dodgy stuff, such as ammonia.
 
I thought under 10 was acceptable... ok.. I'll keep working on lowering it. My resin should be fine unless it came from vendor with a problem

No, aim for 0-1 ppm TDS, initially, then when it rises to 1-2 ppm TDS, time to change the DI.
