So say "someone" let thier DI bed go bad causing TDS to go to about 100. And had been using that 100ppm TDS to do water changes for about a month or so, how many water changes with 0 TDS will it take to get to the center of the lolipop?? Do the dissolved solids leach into the rock? Or stay primarily in the water column? Thanks for your help, I'm clueless o_O

It depends on what specific solids were measured in your TDS reading. If you have hard water, most of that was probably calcium anyway.
