Hello,
I have recently decided to downsize from my 125 to 60. I am trying to turn my 125 into a freshwater tank. I would like to fill the tank up with water and vinegar in order to soak it properly and get some of the Coraline algae off of the overflows. My question is, is it safe to turn on the return pump and have the tank running with the vinegar in there or would the vinegar on the return pump for a couple of days damage it? Has anyone ever done this before?
