Is Kent Tech M magnesium still a useful supplement to use to eradicate green hair algae? I've read that they have changed the formula so that raising mag levels with this no longer gas an effect.

Try algaefix, it it works great, or fluconazole. I read the tech m mix was accidentally tainted with something and the recipe was corrected (Kent no longer makes the recipe).

Just posted the link with the old (Kent Recipe) and it's a Brightwells product now.
@Rakie is using right now.
We used the old Kent M Tech for Bryopsis, but maybe :confused: someone has used it for GHA :)

If it's GHA I'd tumble GFO :D

I'd still recommend algaefix regardless ;)

I've been running gfo and carbon. Phosphates are 0, nitrates less than 5.
Well,
Maybe you could try the Alagefix and when the GHA starts to die off the GFO will catch the phosphates that are bound up in the GHA :)
