Teco chiller differential setting

I have the Teco 500. I have noticed that there is around a .6 difference between my tank and chiller temp. How can I match them as cant see from where.

OK so I managed to "solve" the issue by dropping the actual temp to a lower value. What I noticed is that the chiller goes on every 5 mins. Is this how frequent this should be? I have the HY set to 0.6..

I suggest controlling your DT temp by some sort of controller, like Apex or Inkbird or Ranco. I would set Chiller/heater to wider ranges and let controller do the job.

I have the Reef Factory Thermo controller, but I only left my heater connected to it just in case something happens to the controller the chiller still works. Is this a bad idea?
