Teco is a very nice Italian chiller. They tend to be very reliable, quiet and efficient. Their distributor is Teco US out of Texas.

Own TK1000. Buy far best chiller i saw. Very quiet heater qorks great and chill like champ. Recommended. I use 1000 on 180 gallon and it keeps my tank on 27 celsius even here where i live is 45 in summer times.

after talking to the dealer, I will be ordering the tk1000. everyone I talked to has nothing but praise for them, and 2 yr warrenty, and serviced in the us

Hi Robert. How is teca TK1000? I am planning on getting a chiller. I just spoke to one of their distributor in Texas and the guy did not recommend them at all. He said teca chillers is too loud. He recommended the JBJ instead. Just wanted to know your experience so far with the teca. Thanks.

i could not be happier! I would say it's not loud at all. just the sound of the fan when it runs.no different than any room fan. ever the wife has no objections to it. now, it is not in a living area but a fish room I only hear it if I,m within a few feet of it. I really like the built in heater. I have the tolerance set for plus/minus 1 deg f and it is really locked in.
