Just recently got a free 36 inch t5 tek light fixture and am trying to clean it out. Any tips on cleaning the sockets? The bulbs wont turn on but the switches are green on they're switched to on. Any help would be great!

I have two that I got in a setup. Half the bulbs work. The ballasts are probably burnt out, or the bulbs themselves. Can't imagine 6 are burnt at once though. Pull the bulbs and the reflectors, you will see the ballasts in there, there are two. One is white and one is black. You can find them both on eBay for around 30 or so each. Good luck!

Yeah I think it's the ballasts. Checked that there was power going into the ballast, and there was, then checked power going out of the ballast and there wasn't. Only thing is what's the chances of both ballasts being fried? Because none of the lights work
