Tell me doc Its bristle worms isnt

Those don't look like bristle worms. The B/Ws that I've had are usually a reddish color with gray and only come out when it's dark or I lift a rock that they're hiding under

Hey thanks for that and quite a relief. It Would Be good to know what they are. And whether im in for a world of hurt
 
I think most tanks have them. I know I do and I am not a out to hunt for them. If I happen to see one when working on my tank I might get it out or smash it.

Are they really that bad? Dont they do as much good as bad?
 
Not bristles....can you take one out put in a container of water and take a new pic...
